All experience levels are welcome. 

Join a state park naturalist for an easy 1-mile walk by the Giving Pond. We'll learn how to use binoculars and practice IDing species we see along the way. We will also discuss what you can do to help protect songbirds in your area. 

For the best experience, we recommend pre-downloading the Merlin app AND the bird pack of your choice.

• Bathrooms: There is a port-o-john at the parking lot. 
• What to Bring: Comfortable walking footwear. A limited amount of binoculars are available to borrow - but please bring your own if you have them! 
• Special Considerations: As much as we love our furry friends, this is not a dog-friendly program.
