DESCRIPTION:Bike riding is a great way to explore the natural and the histo
 ric beauty of Swatara State Park! Join us on a bike ride starting at Sand 
 Siding parking lot down our rail trail to the canal locks near the Watervi
 lle Bridge. We'll talk about their history in the park and then ride back 
 up to Sand Siding\, taking in the sights along the way!\n\n \n\nThose unde
 r 18 MUST be with a parent. Participants must be 12 years or older and mus
 t be able to ride a bike to join us. The park will provide bikes and helme
 ts- registering for the event will reserve you a bike. If you have a perso
 nal bike you prefer to ride\, then instead of registering online please em
 ail qheist@pa.gov so we can make sure the park's bikes are available for o
 thers.\n\n \n\nAll programs are subject to change due to weather or staffi
 ng shortages. Please check the DCNR Calendar of events or our Facebook pag
 e for cancellations or changes to programs. If you have concerns or requir
