Bike riding is a great way to explore the natural and the historic beauty of Swatara State Park! Join us on a bike ride starting at Sand Siding parking lot down our rail trail to the canal locks near the Waterville Bridge. We'll talk about their history in the park and then ride back up to Sand Siding, taking in the sights along the way!

Those under 18 MUST be with a parent. Participants must be 12 years or older and must be able to ride a bike to join us. The park will provide bikes and helmets- registering for the event will reserve you a bike. If you have a personal bike you prefer to ride, then instead of registering online please email qheist@pa.gov so we can make sure the park's bikes are available for others.
