Beginner Birders
Join our park educator to learn the basic skills in finding and identifying birds. Please meet in the Environmental Learning Center for a brief introduction on common bird calls and to learn how to use binoculars and field guides. After, we will embark on a short, easy walk to observe the birds at Raymond B. Winter State Park.
This program is recommended for beginner birders of all ages! We will have a limited supply of binoculars and field guides, but guests are encouraged to bring their own supplies if they prefer.
If you have any questions or concerns, please contact our park educator, Rebecca, at rebharner@pa.gov. Happy Birding!
