Join park naturalist Rob Bergstresser for a 2.5 mile guided nature hike along one of Beltzville State Park’s lesser-known trails, the Cove Ridge Trail. We'll also make a short side trek to view the beautiful Wild Creek Falls. All ages and experience levels are invited, but please note this is a moderate-level hike, and sturdy walking/hiking shoes are highly recommended! Participants should bring water, a snack, bug spray, and dress appropriately for a moderate-level hike.
Rain will postpone the hike.
Pre-registration is required and limited to 15 participants.
We will be meeting at the Wild Creek Trailhead parking lot, approximately 4 miles east of the park's main entrance.
***PLEASE NOTE*** Program participants must bring a face covering or mask with them and have it in their possession during the program in case it’s needed for various reasons (when social distancing cannot be maintained, need to go indoors where masks are required, etc.)
