Bats in the Forest

Join our friends from PA bat  rescure for this family program about our favorite flying mammals - the bat!

Did you know there are 9 species of bat in PA and almost all of them live in the Nolde Forest? And that bat populations are rapidly declining? What does that mean for humans? And how do you care for an injured bat?

Join us at this indoor program where we talk about these facts and more with park staff and licensed bat rehabbers. Weather permitting, we might even see some newly rehabbed bats get released back into the night sky.

This program will be primarily held indoors so it will be held rain or shine (however we will cancel for dangerous storms). For the comfort of our special guests, we ask that everyone wear a mask for this special event.
