Bark in the Park: Canines for Clean Water

Bring your furry companions along to a hike around Nockamixon State Park. Meet at the Environmental Education Center for a 1-hour long hike through paved and some uneven terrain. This hike is for dogs that are friendly with people and other dogs. You will kindly be asked to leave the group if your dog displays aggression towards any other dogs or people. In this hike you will learn about the importance of topics like picking up pet waste left on the ground as well as trail etiquette.
***Meeting location: Environmental Education Center: Directions to Environmental Education Center from Main Park Office:
From the park office parking lot, drive into park to lot #11. Once parked, follow the trail down towards to Environmental Education Center
Option to park in lot #12 and walk through wooded area 400ft to Environmental Education center.
There are no bathrooms at the starting point of this hike but we will be passing one on the hike.
This hike may be cancelled or postponed in the event of inclement weather or hazardous driving conditions.
