Seniors and retirees* are invited to join our staff for a field trip to the Upper Delaware Scenic and Recreational River and the Lackawaxen River in search of wintering and resident bald eagles. Sightings are likely but not guaranteed, as our van will make several stops at hotspots to get out and search. We’ll also make a morning coffee and restroom stop as well as a stop for lunch in Hawley, but please plan for a full day in the field; pack a drink, snack, and dress to be outdoors. Participants will be responsible to cover the cost of anything they wish to purchase on the trip, including lunch. *If you’ve ever taken advantage of a senior discount, this applies to you!
Registration is required.
