Bald Eagle Birding Day

Join Bald Eagle State Park and other bird lovers for an enjoyable day of avian education!  Participants will be able to experience live raptors up close, learn about bird identification, build their own bird house to take home, observe resident bald eagles and osprey, and take part in a woodcock walk to conclude the day.

Morning Bird Walk- 8:30am-10:00am, Pavilion 6

Kayak Eagle Watch- 11:00am-12:30pm & 1:30pm-3:00pm, West Launch **Pre-registration Required**

Bluebird Box Workshop- 4:30pm-5:30pm, Pavilion 6 **Pre-registration Required**      

Shaver’s Creek Environmental Center: Live Birds of Prey- 6:00pm-7:00pm, Pavilion 7    

Owl Pellet Dissection- 7:30pm-8:00pm, Pavilion 6

Raffle Prize Giveaway- 8:00pm, Pavilion 6

Woodcock Walk- 8:30pm-9:00pm, Park Office
