Backyard Birding

Join the park naturalist for an introduction to backyard birding. We'll learn how to use a basic bird field guide before heading outside to practice. Dress for the weather. The park has a limited supply of binoculars and field guides for use on a first-come basis.

REMINDER: The bridge by the park office is CLOSED. To reach the park office, enter the park through Plumer. Take Rt. 227 to Petroleum Center Road. Continue on for 2 miles until you see the park office on the right. Contact 814.676.5915 for further direction if needed.
