**Feb. 15th date cancelled due to snow/ice**

Due to the high chance of ice with this incoming snow storm, we are going to postpone evaporating until Feb. 22nd. We will hold it in conjunction with our coffee with the birds program. We hope to see you there!

Join us for a crash course on backyard maple sugaring! For each program, we will do a roughly 40 minute presentation inside the park office classroom going over all of the basics of making maple syrup. We will then take an optional walk out to our maple trees to compare different species, gain confidence in our ID skills, and check out a tap. On the 1st and 9th we will put in at least one tap for everyone to see.

On Feb. 15th, we will be at the park office from 10am - 2pm for anyone to stop by. We will be running our evaporator for folks to see the process and ask additional questions about maple sugaring.

For Feb. 22nd, we will be doing a later afternoon program for those who can't make the morning ones.

These programs are held at the park office, 1579 State Park Road.
