Autumn Moon Tai Chi

Many cultures celebrate the changing seasons in a variety of ways. The week of Sept 20th people all over the world will be celebrating fall with the Autumn Equinox (Sept 22) and the Autumn Moon Festival (Sept 25) happening back-to-back! This week offers the perfect time to pause and reflect on the past season of warmth, movement and energy, while at the same time preparing ourselves for the slow, contemplative colder seasons on the horizon.

Come join us in the forest at moonrise for a series of flowing movements that celebrate the moon, the sky, earth’s bounty, and humans' place in the natural world. The slow, easy-to-follow set of simple moves puts everything into balance. It stretches and strengthens your muscles and connective tissue, and the focus on coordinating your breath with the movements brings you entirely into the present and into a relaxed, almost meditative state.

After, we will share in some seasonal treats and good company.

You’ll leave feeling supple and strong, calm yet energized.

Perfect for beginners and all levels.
