Take a moment to look at the stars - while sitting in a kayak. All equipment (kayaks, paddles, vests) will be provided, but please dress appropriately for the weather. No experience is required. If you can sit in a chair, then you can handle a kayak on a calm lake.

This program is for ages 12 and over. Although sponsored by Caledonia State Park, we will meet directly at the boat launch of Long Pine Reservoir, 675 Milesburg Road. If there will be thunderstorms, the program will be cancelled.

Although participation is free, pre-registrartion is required, and is limited to the twelve pirogues. Participants must sign a safety waiver, and wear a life vest during the entire event. Water shoes are recommended, and please bring a headlamp or flashlight. Participants are responsble for ensuring the skies will be clear of clouds. Any questions call 717-352-2161.
