Art in the Park - Valley of the Catawissa

Today’s landscape painting is based on Thomas Moran's Valley of the Catawissa 1865. The Catawissa Creek has its headwaters along the border of Luzerne and Schuylkill Counites, and some believe that this work was Moran's model for his monumental Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone painting.  Join volunteer Jan Lokuta to create your very own painting to take home!  The program is free and all materials will be provided. Because this is a lengthy program everyone should bring a drink, lunch or snacks they may want. This program is geared for ages 16 and up.
