Art in the Park is back for 2024! Join the Friends of Shawnee and Blue Knob State Parks as we display local artists’ work at the beach house at Shawnee State Park. This year’s theme is Anything Nature.

All ages and ability are welcome to submit their pieces of art to be displayed for two days, from Saturday, August 31st, from 11-2 (to follow the 5K that morning-details yet to come) and Sunday, September 1st from 12-4.

The building will be open to get a close look at the work and see who the talented individuals are who enjoy nature like we do.

Check the Friends Facebook page for details concerning drop off of artwork. Photography, paintings, pencil drawings, watercolors, pens, pastels, sculptures….bring it all! We can’t wait to see what the local talent has been working on!
