Join your DCNR Park Naturalist for a fun program about trees, their parts, how they function, their importance in nature and how to recognize some that grow at Ridley Creek State Park. We will observe three park champion trees and a species that is actually extinct in the wild before departing on a nature hike to learn about local tree identification, spring ephermeral wildflowers, natives vs invasives and valuable species to plant in your own backyard habitat projects. Wear good walking shoes, bring water and dress for the weather. Registration not required.
