Join your DCNR Park Naturalist for a fun program about trees, their parts, how they function, their importance in nature and how to recognize some that grow at Ridley Creek State Park. We will observe two state park champion trees and a species that is actually extinct in the wild before departing on a nature hike to learn about local tree identification, natives, invasives and valuable species to plant in your own backyard habitat projects. Wear good walking shoes, bring water and dress for the weather. Registration not required. DUE TO CURRENT COVID-19 RESTRICTIONS PARTICIPANTS ARE LIMITED TO 25 AT A TIME WITH MASKS AND 6 FEET SOCIAL DISTANCING.
