Join Environmental Education Staff from Presque Isle, Pymatuning, and M.K. Goddard State Parks to dive into the Aquatic WILD Curriculum. We will be showcasing various lessons for various grade levels in the book and be offering hands on field experience in the afternoon. Hands on activities include electroshocking fish with Mark Kirk from Allegheny College and macroinvertebrate collection and ID in Sugar Run and using a seine net to catch fish in the lake. There is a fee of $10.00 for the workshop. Participants will receive Aquatic WILD curriculum guide, 6 hours of Act 48 hours as well as multiple fish and plant ID guides.
