Aquatic WILD Educator Workshop

Become certified in Aquatic WILD curricula and earn 4.5 Act 48 hours while experiencing hands-on activities related to water quality and aquatic wildlife that help develop awareness, investigative skills, curiosity, and environmental knowledge. Participants will receive the updated Aquatic WILD K-12 Teacher’s Guide which features over 40 lessons that relate aquatic natural resources to STEM and field investigations. This workshop is open to all educators: schoolteachers, naturalists, homeschool parents, scout leaders, and others!
Additionally, workshop guests will go on an explorative trip to Bald Eagle State Park’s Frog Pond to get firsthand experience with catching and IDing aquatic organisms like tadpoles, insects, and crustaceans! Bring a brown-bag lunch and dress for outdoor fun.
Participants are REQUIRED to register online by the end of the day on Monday, March 16, 2026. Click "Buy Tickets" button to register. The workshop fee is $15.00 per person and is due to Bald Eagle State Park via in-person at the office or via phone with a card (814.625.2775) before the workshop takes place on March 20th.
