Aquaponics is a powerful teaching tool for Pre-K-12 learners. From engineering to chemistry, business to food health to global food security, aquaponics addresses many topics and applies placed-based learning methods. This 1.5 day PD will cover the basics of aquaculture & aquaponics and includes:

• Local facilities tour of Presque Isle State Park's Aquaculture system
• Make and take aquaponics system
• This PD is for Pre-K-12 formal & nonformal educators.
