Our annual Apple Festival is back again! Join us for an afternoon of food, fun, entertainment, and of course, Shoaff's Mill! See the mill grind corn as it did for over 100 years, witness demonstrators such as spinners and weavers, and sample fresh pressed apple cider, warm apple butter, and fresh baked cornbread!
Vendors and demonstrators wanted! If you are interested in setting up at Apple Fest, contact mmarker@pa.gov for more details. Vendor space is extremely limited.
Entertainment & Demonstrators scheduled to include:
Adia Walker & Kenny Brady - Blacksmithing demonstrations and selling products
Anderson Forge - Knife-making demonstrations
DonnaLynn O'Donnell - Intro to Spinning, including individual lessons on using a drop spindle
Storytelling: Jack Graham (Saturday only) & Greta Rech of Antur Storytelling (Sunday only)
Duncannon Appalacian Trail Community - educational stand
Perry County Beekeepers - educational stand (Sat only)
Woodmobile (Sunday only)
Forestry - Rattlesnakes on Stage (Sunday only)
Special Program: Falconry demos (Sunday only)
Special Program: Intro to Backpacking demonstration - 1pm on Saturday (Possibly Sunday)
