Animals in Winter Virtual Scavenger Hunt

Looking for something new and different that the whole family can participate in while social distancing? How about participating in a scavenger hunt inside your house? How this works; send an email to smarendt@pa.gov to be signed up for the program that will be on February 15 from 2-3pm. You will be sent a link to join the program through Skype for Business. When the program begins everyone will be given a list of several items to find and gather in a timed scavenger hunt. You will see if you can beat the other teams. Once time is up we will determine who the winner is. We will then determine how all of the items you have collected relate to how animals survive in the winter in a fun educational program. Camera capability for your computer is a requirement to have on during the program.

For more information, please contact the Presque Isle State Park office, located on the second floor of the Tom Ridge Environmental Center, at 814-833-7424.  The office is open Monday through Friday from 8 AM – 4 PM. If you need an accommodation to participate in park activities due to a disability, please contact the park you plan to visit.
