This meteor shower watch has been cancelled due to predicted cloud cover.

Watch for the Andromedids Meteor Shower over Black Moshannon Lake.   This meteor shower is usually one that we can't see, but it has been prdicted that there might be an outburst for 2023 with over 200 meteors per hour.   It may or may not happen, but we are going to try in the event it does.  This program will be cancelled if complete cloud cover or inclement weather.  Cancellations will be listed on the Black Moshannon State Park Facebook page and on the DCNR calendar of events.  Meet at Boat Launch #2 on West Side Road.
