Join park staff to learn the history and use of this ancient tool. During the ice age the atlatl reigned as the supreme weapon to hunt megafauna, until the bow and arrow replaced it.  While we will not be hunting mammoths, we will be aiming at targets and throwing for distance. Meet at the park office.
