Every early-spring, when the weather begins to warm, many species of amphibians will begin a journey to their breeding grounds at vernal pools during the evening and night hours.The star attractions are the mole salamanders, like the Spotted and Jefferson salamanders, which are rarley seen throughout most of the year. Come enjoy this night program as we go in search of these elusive amphibians.....and don't forget to bring a flashlight!
