American Marten
Once a common native species, the American Marten disappeared from Penn's Woods over 120 years ago. This presentation will step back in history to look at why did we lose this and many other species within the state, how has wildlife reintroduction reshaped the forest we have now, and why is it important to consider this new opportunity in reintroducing the American Marten to PA. Join us at the Kinzua Bridge State Park Visitor Center classroom for this interesting presentation provided by Pennsylvania Game Commission Furbearer Biologist Thomas Keller. Meet in the classroom at 6:00 PM. Contact the park office at (814) 778-5467 for more information.
