Ohiopyle has just developed two new vernal pools.  Vernal what? Spring pools offer amphibians a great spot to lay eggs.  The park has recently added a vernal pool and expanded an existing one.  On this short hike, over varied terrain, we will explore these two spots.  Masks and social distancing will be required for participants who have not been vaccinated.  Registration is required for this hike.  Email bawallace@pa.gov to register.  Space is very limited.
