In this series of programs, we will take a deep dive into a specific nature topic to learn and discover what we can. We will take a more scientific approach to the natural world, and delve into the topic not normally possible during a general public nature program through "classroom" work and field work.

This program series is geared towards adults, but ages 14+ are permitted if accompanied by an adult.

Do you enjoy studying trees, flowers, or just plants in general, but struggle to identify the large amount of plants out there, or struggle to differentiate between two similar looking species? Do you want to know what kinds of wildflowers you keep seeing on your walks, or what kind of tree your neighbor has in their yard that you would just love to have? Do you know most of your trees and wildflowers, but can’t exactly explain why that that is that specific plant? Join us as we discuss how you can do this, even if you have no prior knowledge of plants whatsoever, without long lectures of plant parts, anatomy, etc. Learn the basics of plant life in a practical, useful way that will have you picking up a field guide and identifying every plant you come across.

 Registration required.
