All About Elk

Join Mandy Marconi from the PA Game Commission in a program that talks about the history of elk in pa. Learn of the life history, size, and behavior of the second largest member of the deer family. Through artifacts, photos and personal experiences with elk as part of her job, Mandy will explain how pa’s current elk herd came to be. She will also discuss the management and challenges of the elk herd. Mandy is the environmental educator at the elk center and thus will have unique experiences to relate.
