DESCRIPTION:Watershed Education (WE) is an inquiry-based\, interdisciplinar
 y curriculum that is geared for students in grades 6-12. Developed by the 
 DCNR Bureau of State Parks\, WE helps educators utilize local natural reso
 urces as a valuable teaching tool. This workshop will specifically focus o
 n the chemical water quality sampling component of the curriculum. Teacher
 s who are already familiar with educating about watersheds and water quali
 ty issues will benefit from this advanced workshop that will provide resou
 rces on how to teach chemical concepts\, how to maintain water quality tes
 ting equipment\, and how to manage a chemistry lab outdoors.\n\nEducators 
 attending this workshop will receive the chemistry portion of the Bureau o
 f State Parks award-winning Watershed Education curriculum and their own w
 ater quality test kit. Cost is $10 payable at the workshop with cash or ch
 eck made payable to the "Commonwealth of Pennsylvania".  Participants will
