Adult Turtle Talk and Paint
301 Peninsula Drive, Suite 1, Erie, PA 16505-2042
Come to the TREC for a program about turtles and then paint a ceramic turtle. There will be a 45 minute talk where you can meet some live turtles, find out some of the perils facing PA turtles and learn how you can help by participating in citizen science. Afterwards, we paint our own 5" turtle. Turtles will be taken to Claytopia to be fired and participants will pick up at the TREC at a later date. Space is limited.
Program is suitable for teens and adults.
Registration is required and there is a fee of $13. Please call the park office to register and pay at 814-833-7424.
Programming is subject to modification or cancellation at the discretion of park staff. If you need an accommodation to participate in Park activities due to a disability, please contact Presque Isle State Park at 814-833-7424 to make arrangements for your visit. With at least three days’ notice, interpreters for people who are deaf or hard of hearing are available for educational programs.
