Adopt A Beach at Presque Isle
301 Peninsula Drive, Suite 1, Erie, PA 16505-2042
Adopt A Beach is back at Presque Isle, and we still need your help. Are you a local resident who enjoys visiting Presque Isle State Park? Are you proud that this gem is right in your back yard? If so, please consider joining our Adopt a Beach team. Right now, we are accepting volunteers to help keep our beaches clean. We are challenging dedicated individuals and civic organizations and businesses to take part in our beach cleaning program. We will restart this program from August to October this year. This year, the third cleanup is on Saturday, October 16, from 9am to Noon. Meet at the AAUW Pavilion at TREC to pick up supplies like bags and gloves, and learn your designated area to clean. (Litter recording with the data sheets will resume the following season). There are several areas on the park that need to be adopted.
If you are interested, please contact John Laskos at jlaskos@pa.gov.
