A Journey to Backyard Biodiversity: Talk and Plant Swap
3025 New Holland Road, Reading, PA 19607
The Friends of Nolde Forest Present:
How do you take a tangled mess of a backyard and turn it into a wildlife oasis? Join native gardening geek, Katie Fisk, and learn why native gardening is so important now more than ever, her journey of successes and bumps she's had along the way, and how you can begin your own native gardening journey no matter where you live.
At the end of the presentation, we invite you to swap native plant seeds and/or divisions from your own garden with other program participants. Plant swaps are a great, easy way to increase biodiversity in your own garden! Bring as many plants as you like, but please, only plan on taking a plant if you bring a native plant to trade.
Registration is required for all participants. Spaces are limited, so please be sure you sign up and pay to finalize your registration spot. We will not be able to take walk up participants.
This is a fundraiser for the Friends of Nolde Forest. All payments are final unless this program needs to be cancelled by the Friends of Nolde Forest due to extenuating circumstances.
**Due to the increasing popularity of our programming and the growing number of people on the waitlist for programs, we require a 24-hour cancellation notice for all programs. This will allow us time to reach out to other participants/families on the wait list and allow them to fill your spot. Individuals who repeatedly do not cancel before the program and who repeatedly do not show up to the program will be prohibited from signing up for future programs.
