Come to Jennings and follow the Storybook Trail featuring Welcome to My Prairie.  The Storybook Trail is a fun, educational, outdoor activity that places the pages of a children’s story along the trail to discover and read while exploring the outdoors and learning about nature.  Walk a portion of Jennings’ trails and experience the story unfold as Buzz, the rattlesnake, takes you on a trip through Jennings unique prairie habitat. This fun, self-guided activity is designed for young children and those young at heart.

The event is free, no registration is required, and will be available Saturday, April 23 through Sunday, May 8, 2022.  The story begins at the entrance to the prairie on Blazing Star Trail. The unpaved route is generally easy and mostly stroller friendly, but contains some slight slopes, wet areas, and uneven terrain.
