The Friends of Nolde Forest Present: 

WINTER TOUR - DECEMBER 2025

Step back in time with us as we explore the Nolde Mansion on this docent-led tour.

Now serving as the first Environmental Education Center in the state, the Nolde property was once the home of a wealthy Reading manufacturer. The mansion now serves as the park and staff offices and is not open to the public except on open house days and for these seasonal guided tours.

Join the Friends of Nolde Forest for this Winter Guided Tour of the Nolde Mansion. Together we will learn about the history of this forest and the family who called it home.

Registered participants should meet the docent at the mansion side portico at 3:45pm on the date of the tour.

**Ticket sales open 1 month prior to the tour date and are first come, first serve. 

Registration is required for all participants. Spaces are limited, so please be sure you sign up and pay to finalize your registration spot. 

Online ticket sales close at midnight the night before the event. If you would like to inquire about open spaces after that, please come to the open house from 1-3:45pm before the guided tour and ask a volunteer how to sign up. Spaces are limited and day-of tickets cannot be guaranteed.  Tickets bought day-of, on site, will require a $10 payment in exact cash per participant.

This is a fundraiser for the Friends of Nolde Forest. All payments are final. Ticket sales are non-refundable unless this program needs to be cancelled by the Friends of Nolde Forest due to extenuating circumstances.

Due to the increasing popularity of our programming and the growing number of people on the waitlist for programs, we require a 24-hour cancellation notice for all programs. This will allow us time to reach out to other participants/families on the wait list and allow them to fill your spot. Individuals who repeatedly do not cancel before the program and who repeatedly do not show up to the program will be prohibited from signing up for future programs.
