The world keeps spinning, and why not enjoy the setting sun from the vantage point of a kayak. All equipment (kayaks, paddles, vests) will be provided, but please dress appropriately for the weather. No experience is required. If you can sit in a chair without falling out, then you can handle a kayak on a calm lake. This program is for ages 12 and over. If there are storms, the program will be cancelled.

Although participation is free, pre-registration is required, and is limited to the ten pirogues. Participants must sign a safety waiver, and wear a life vest during the entire event. Insect spray and water shoes are recommended. Any questions call 717-352-2161.

Due to limited boats and gear, pre-registration is absolutely required. If you show up without pre-registering, you will not be able to participate. After registering, you will receive an autoreply confirming your registration. If the calendar system does not allow you to register, then the program has reached max capacity.
