The 5,900-acre Bald Eagle State Park is in the broad Bald Eagle Valley of northcentral Pennsylvania. The 1,730-acre lake laps the flanks of Bald Eagle Mountain, surrounded by forests, fields and wetlands. With two campgrounds, boating, fishing, swimming, the Nature Inn, and diverse habitats that are excellent for wildlife watching, Bald Eagle State Park is a great destination in the heart of Pennsylvania.

Awesome 2 hour hike and history of the area. We enjoyed learning about the area and the changes to the area when the dam was built. We had a great educator that had just started a few months before and was very knowledgeable considering she only had a few weeks on the job.
The birdwalk begun on time. Binoculars were provided to all of us (to my wife, my 7 year old and me). It was an easy 90 minute walk and we observed osprey, red winged blackbird and a few more. Nice experience.
A lot of great food booths and variety of vendors. Seeing all of the different catapult designs was very interesting!
Well organized, had headlamps and glow Sticks for everyone , excellent guides
We had a great time! Brittany was very friendly and helpful!

Nice presentation. The length was great for fidgetly young boys who love nature but not sitting still too long. :)
