Presque Isle State Park is a 3,200-acre sandy peninsula that arches into Lake Erie. As Pennsylvania's only "seashore," Presque Isle offers its visitors a beautiful coastline and many recreational activities, including swimming, boating, fishing, hiking, bicycling and in-line skating. A National Natural Landmark, Presque Isle is a favorite spot for migrating birds. Because of the many unique habitats, Presque Isle contains a greater number of the state's endangered, threatened and rare species than any other area of comparable size in Pennsylvania.
Another awesome walk! My son and I really enjoyed it!
We enjoyed the story hour and seeing what all we can find in the sand. We also enjoyed making our picture frame and using items we found in the sand that was provided for us to go searching. What fun we had.
Love seeing the live turtles and see the huge turtle shell. As always we had a great time.
We had a great time learning out the lighthouse Keepers Kid and seeing what games the played with. And seeing and trying on the Lighthouse keepers hat! Great time We will have the lighthouse we made and I am writing this review Mid March.
We had a great time. We also loved going outside and seeing the rabbit burrow and playing fox catch he rabbits. We always have fun at Outside the Window story hour. Love the crafts too!
We had a great time. The kids even had fun climbing through the spider wed. You always make story time fun for the kids.
Went out on New Year's Eve. It was well- organized and fun. We truly enjoyed seeing the park after dark. It was a great way to break in the new year! Definitely planning on going again.
Nice alternative way to spend New Years Eve.
