Presque Isle State Park

Presque Isle State Park is a 3,200-acre sandy peninsula that arches into Lake Erie. As Pennsylvania's only "seashore," Presque Isle offers its visitors a beautiful coastline and many recreational activities, including swimming, boating, fishing, hiking, bicycling and in-line skating. A National Natural Landmark, Presque Isle is a favorite spot for migrating birds. Because of the many unique habitats, Presque Isle contains a greater number of the state's endangered, threatened and rare species than any other area of comparable size in Pennsylvania.

Bill and Terry were wonderful! As was the little girl who’s name I didn’t catch. A very pleasurable experience for myself and children (6 & 10).

We enjoyed the pontoon boat ride at the lagoon. The online early bird reservation did not work but we showed up in the morning and had a great time, enjoying the scenery, learning about the flowers, water plants, beaver lodges, turtles and history.

This is a great program for preschool children and what an opportunity for the kids to learn about wild life. The instructor is very good at keeping the kids busy and offers several different activities.

This was a great hands on program for the kids. Several different activities for the children and it kept their attention and gave them a chance to touch and see and feel.

On line registration was full, we went early to sign up for a later trip and were lucky there was a no show and got on. The volunteers were very nice. It was fun and informative. We are planning on trying an evening ride. Visiting the park is still worth the drive even if the boat rides are all full.
