Neshaminy State Park

Neshaminy State Park is along the Delaware River in lower Bucks County. The park takes its name from Neshaminy Creek, which joins the Delaware at this point. The park measures 339 acres. The picnic areas and swimming pools are the most popular park attractions. Boating access to the Delaware River is provided at the marina.

I thought it was a very interesting event. The battle re-enactment was, of course, the centerpiece, but all the other things they had were also interesting. The "Meet the Generals" and "Meet the Ladies" were both interesting. Many of the portrayers were familiar to me, as I had seen them do the same presentation about a year ago at the Berks County Heritage Society. The encampments were also enjoyable. The 2 men playing music of the time on Banjo & Fiddle was an facinating part for me as well.
