Have you ever heard someone say, “Red sky at night, sailor’s delight”? Or that you can predict the harshness of winter by looking at caterpillars? Humans have used animals, plants, clouds, and other signs to predict weather for centuries. Come learn about some of these interesting forecasting methods, and find out if they can really be used to tell what the weather will bring. Meet in the lower level of the park office, which can be accessed at the rear of the building.
