Watershed Education Teacher Workshop

Join us as we offer Watershed Education (WE), an award winning, Pennsylvania specific curriculum for grades 6-12. This program connects the students with their community to study both the historical and current impacts of the watershed. Training will focus on chemical testing for water quality, stream mapping and delineation, macroinvertebrate ID, how to measure physical parameters of a stream and much more!  The two day workshop will be held on April 1 and May 6.  Teachers must attend both days for Act 48 credit hours.  Registration required by contacting Patrick Adams at paadams@pa.gov or 724-899-3611 before March 20. Cost $40.00.
