Volunteer Work Day - Planting Natives to Celebrate Earth Day

Let’s beautify the park before Earth Day!

Little Buffalo State Park Office

Sunday, April 19, 2015

Noon – 4pm

We will be holding a volunteer work day on Sunday, April 19th to help with plantings for our new native plant garden in front of the Little Buffalo Park Office.  We invite you to participate in this make-over, planting native plants and shrubs to celebrate the forthcoming Earth Day.  Bring gloves and shovels and dress appropriately for the weather.

We will meet at the Little Buffalo Park Office at noon and work until 3 or 4pm.  If you can help for any part of the scheduled time that would be great.

Please email nrsplibu@pa.gov if you are interested so that we know how many volunteers to expect. All participants must be a registered DCNR Conservation Volunteer. Please sign up by using the following link prior to the event. https://www.volunteers.dcnr.state.pa.us/VolunteerApplication.aspx
