Ticks seem to be everywhere these days, but that’s no reason to not enjoy the outdoors. Come along on this one-mile walk as we learn about where ticks live, what they do, why they do it, and how we can avoid becoming their next meal. We’ll also bust some myths about ticks and the many folk remedies for their removal. This walk will be held on Deer and Forest trails, which cover gentle terrain. Please wear sturdy, closed-toed shoes and bring drinking water. Meet at the Point Trailhead parking area on Beaver Valley Road.
