What do you think the “Ugliest Critter in the Creek’ might be? Many people have heard about it, but few have ever seen one. Many mis-identify it, confusing it with another creature. This is the largest salamander in North America – the hellbender.

 

We will cover identification, biology, habitat, and the problems the species is facing. Come prepared to get into the water, as we search for this elusive animal.
