Through six themed lessons (plant parts & processes, soils & vermiculture, insect pests & beneficials, pollinators, gardening for wildlife, take-home herb garden & celebration), students will

> Engage in hands-on experimentation and observation using the scientific method.

> Explore the interaction of different organisms in a garden environment

> Raise plants and create habitat elements while taking into consideration the specific needs of each organism.

> Earn Junior Master Gardener Golden Ray Certificates for their portfolios.

Six Wednesdays at 1– 3 pm, March 7, 14, 21 & April 4, 11, 18

$50 materials fee includes all six sessions
