Sustainable Forestry Initiative Guinness Book of World Records Tree Planting Event

The Sustainable Forestry Initiative and the DCNR will team up to attempt to break the Guinness Book of World Records record for planting the most trees in a one hour period. Gather at Fowlers Hollow State Park at 10 am (coordinates 40.2757,-77.5761) to prepare for the tree planting on the Tuscarora State Forest. Lunch and planting tools will be provided. Participants should bring gloves, sturdy boots, and a small shovel.

To participate volunteers must register by May 8, 2015.
