**POSTPONED UNTIL APRIL 6TH** Spring Homeschool Day

Bald Eagle State Park and Penn State’s Recreation, Park, and Tourism Management (RPTM) 356 class have teamed together to provide a day of fun and learning at Bald Eagle State Park. At the, Wonders of the Wild  homeschool event, participants will get to learn about native mammals, view live birds of prey close up, learn how to use a compass, construct a rustic shelter, discover leave no trace in the wild, and even have the chance to make a natural photo frame to take home!  The event will begin promptly at 10 A.M., concluding at 2 P.M., and will be held at pavilion 6 near the Beach Area.  Participants should be prepared with a packed lunch, full water bottle, and to dress for the weather conditions. Pre-registration is highly encouraged but not required. You can pre-register at the website wondersofthewild.weebly.com, by emailing baldeagleee@pa.gov or by calling 814-625-9369.  Event will be held on March 31st. In the case of extremely bad weather, the event will be postponed to Thursday, April 6.
