Reptile Night – hosted by Delaware Valley University

Live animal presentation! We will be kicking-off the 2017 programming season with Reptile Night, hosted by the students of Delaware Valley University! Meet animals from around the world, like the Sand Boa, or the Ball Python. Students from Delaware Valley University will be hosting Animal Tables Talks with over 20 different reptiles.

Come join us at the Education Center on March 21st for activities where you can meet one of your favorite reptiles up close.  This event is FREE and open to all! Table talks will be held from 6:30 to 8pm. Stop in when you can and bring the whole gang!!

 

*Note: The main park area will be closed through April 1st. To enter the park area for the history program, participants will have to enter through the Harrisburg School Road/Marina entrance and park in Lot 12. Please call if you need more detailed directions.

DIRECTIONS TO ENVIRONMENTAL EDUCATION CENTER FROM THE PARK OFFICE:

  • 1. From the park office parking lot, head northeast by turning right onto Route 563/ Mountain View Drive.
  •  
  • 2. Proceed 0.8 miles to Harrisburg School Road and turn right.
  •  
  • 3. Proceed 0.3 miles to the stop sign (entering the park) and turn right.
  •  
  • 4. Proceed 0.2 miles to parking lot #12 and park.
  •  
  • 5. Using either the main park roadway or the gravel path, walk through the wooded area 400 ft to the Environmental Education Center.
  •  
  • For persons with mobility issues or those that require ADA access, please contact the park office at (215)529-7300 to arrange accommodations.
