Project Learning Tree Curriculum Workshop

  Project Learning Tree is an environmental education curriculum supplement designed for educators working with students from pre-kindergarten through eighth grade.  Project Learning Tree is a collection of innovative, plant-related activities that are hands-on, easy to use, and fun !

 The goal of Project Learning Tree is to facilitate and promote awareness, appreciation, knowledge, and stewardship of natural resources through the development and dissemination of classroom-ready teaching aids and through the establishment of state and internationally sponsored Project Learning Tree programs.

Registrants should come prepared for being outdoors, rain or shine.  Morning coffee will be provided. Participants should bring a bag lunch. Registration will be limited to 8 to 15 participants.  If the minimum number of 8 is not attained, the workshop will be cancelled.

Participants who complete the workshop will receive the Project Learning Tree Activity Guide for pre-K - 8, and other related materials.

 You will also be credited with six hours of training for Act 48.

There is a $ 20.00 fee for this workshop.

Pre-registration is required, and will be on a first-come, first served,

basis. Registration opens April 2, 2018.
