Introduction to Archery

Little Pine State will host an “Introduction to Archery” program from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm.  This is open to all ages and skill levels, but children under age 16 must be accompanied by an adult.  This will be at the archery range, 2.36 miles north of the park office along SR 4001.  There is no fee for this event.

Visitors can examine many types of equipment, ranging from medieval long bows to modern compound bows, different types of arrows, and accessories such as quivers or arm guards.

Basic instruction will be given, and all equipment is provided.  There will be a variety of targets to interest the beginner or the more advanced archer.
