Hump Day Hike

Explore Lackawanna State Park by joining us for a series of guided hikes.  Each Wednesday, we will walk different trails, as well as discuss the regional natural history. Hikes will be approximately 2 hours in length, and vary in terrain and difficulty.

It is recommended to wear good hiking shoes and to bring water/snacks.  Leashed, well-behaved dogs are welcome.

For additional information, please call the park office at 570-945-3239.

  • This hike will take us along the southern edge of the lake. From the S. Shore access we will make our way to the dam via Frost Hollow Trail. We will return using Snowflake Trail. This will be relatively flat terrain, but always a chance for mud and wet conditions. Please have proper footwear, and bring snacks and water. Distance is a 2 mile loop.
